Holiday Recipes with Barb!
Meet Barb! Barb has been with Rankl & Ries for 5 years. She is our Title Clerk and wears many hats here at the dealership. In her spare time she loves to make crafts and bake! She wanted to share a couple recipes with you this Christmas Season!
Barb's Buckeyes! (YUM)
1 1/2 Cups of peanut butter
1 Cup Butter
1/2 tsp of vanilla
6 Cups of Confectioners Sugar
Chocolate for Dipping
Mix peanut butter, butter, vanilla and confectioners sugar. The dough will look dry. Roll mixture into little balls and place on waxed paper. Freeze those for 1/2 hour. Then take out and dip into the melted chocolate!
Sugar Cookies
1 1/2 cups of soft butter
2 cups of white sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
5 cups of flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp of salt
Cream together butter and sugar till smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt.
Over and chill for 1 hour or overnight. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes!
